What Pet Match is

Pet Match connects people looking to adopt or foster pets with people who have pets to rehome. We don't own, inspect, or guarantee the condition of any animal listed. You're responsible for verifying details directly with the other person before any adoption.

Your account

You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
You're responsible for keeping your password secure.
You must be old enough to legally enter an adoption agreement in your area.

Listing and interacting with pets

Only list pets you're authorized to rehome.
Listings must be accurate — no misrepresenting a pet's health, age, or temperament.
Be respectful when expressing interest or messaging other users.

What's not allowed

Harassment, hate speech, or abusive behavior toward other users.
Fraudulent listings or scams.
Using the platform for anything other than pet rehoming.

Our role

Pet Match is a platform to help people connect — we're not a party to any adoption arrangement made between users, and we don't mediate disputes. Use good judgment, meet in safe public places, and trust your instincts.

Changes

We may update these terms as the platform evolves. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated terms.
